About Primo Jet
Primo Jet was founded in 2025 as a family business. With two pilots already in the family and a further member training to become one, we used our existing industry knowledge to redefine private travel.

Having identified a clear gap in the market, namely that whilst travel in single engine turbine aircraft was common around Europe and London, there was a considerable lack of options in the North West of the UK, Primo Jet was formed with a clear aim: to provide private jet luxury, for business class prices.
It is important to us that Primo Jet remains a family business, one that places a value on putting members first, ensuring that they receive a personal, high quality experience each time they travel.

Where does the name Primo Jet come from? The family regularly visited Spain on holiday, with half of them having grown up there. The business will be run by the "4 cousins", alongside other family members. The word "primo" is Spanish for "cousin", hence the name.

Managing Director
Luke Collister
Luke is our managing director. Before co-founding Primo Jet, Luke spent several years working as a commercial pilot and flying instructor. He then progressed to become the Head of Training at a major UK flying school, where he is responsible for the oversight and regulatory compliance of the organisation. Luke still continues in this capacity, as well as working as a qualified paramedic in the North West of the UK. You'll also see him flying our aircraft from time to time, or training the next generation of pilots. Luke is both a UK and EASA licence holder, with numerous instructor and examiner ratings on both licences.
Director of Sales and Finance
Ben Collister
Whilst Ben does not come from an aviation background, he is a vital member of the team. Having secured a degree in Accounting and Finance followed by his Investment Advice Diploma, Ben continues to work In his fundraising role at a major UK Venture Capital firm, whilst also ensuring the success of Primo Jet. As the Director of Sales and Finance, Ben often works in the background, ensuring that the business continues to be successful.

Director of Business Development
Simon Gauge
Simon has over 20 years aviation experience, working for some of the major UK airlines in a variety of roles including Airport Manager, Ramp Agent, and within the Operations and Crewing departments. He subsequently flew the Airbus family of Aircraft, holding positions of First Officer at Mytravel Airways, First Officer and Captain with Monarch Airlines for 10 years and then Captain at Titan Airways following Monarch’s demise. Simon has accumulated over 8000 flying hours mainly on the Airbus A320/1 aircraft. As well as flying the PC12 PRO Simon will be helping with the growth of the business.

Director of Operations
Sam Gauge
Sam has gained valuable knowledge in the industry. Before Primo Jet, Sam worked as an aviation dispatcher and then as an FBO operations team member. With his excellent knowledge of airside operations, Sam is responsible for ensuring that day to day operations run smoothly. Sam is currently in the process of gaining his pilot licences, and will regularly accompany our qualified pilots to help our members enjoy their onboard experience.
